What languages does the school teach?
English is our primary language of instruction, used across core subjects including Science, Mathematics, P.E., Art, Geography, and ICT. In strict alignment with the Ministry of Education guidelines, Arabic is also taught as a first or second language depending on the student’s educational background. How do I register my child for a school club?
Our clubs are scheduled within regular school timings. Students from KG2 onwards are invited to select their preferred club at the beginning of each term through a quick online registration survey.
What are the school's daily timings?
School timings are structured to maximize learning and balance activity. For KG students, the day starts at 7:30 AM and ends at 12:45 PM. For Grades 1 to 9, the school day runs from 7:30 AM to 2:15 PM (Monday to Thursday), while Friday is a half-day ending at 11:30 AM in alignment with UAE national guidelines.
Is school transportation available, and how is it monitored?
Yes, Modern British Academy offers safe and reliable school bus transportation covering various areas in Abu Dhabi. All our buses strictly comply with Abu Dhabi Mobility and ADEK safety regulations, featuring surveillance cameras, professional drivers, and dedicated bus supervisors to ensure student safety throughout the journey.
